21!

My baking skills are limited, but after 21 years I have perfected the art of decorating cakes with a tube of smarties (the pair of socks were Lucy's idea) Apologies for the dodgy quality of the portrait, taken when we were out and about on Saturday, proves that you don't need instagram to take murky pictures. family matters

I haven't been in the mood for posting lately, things seem unimportant compared to the stories and pictures coming from Japan where so many lives have been destroyed and so many people are living on the edge of horror, it's difficult to know what to say apart from joining the voice that wishes everyone in Japan safety and hope for the future.
I have also been away from my computer taking my son to interviews at art colleges around the country. It seems really hard to believe that this cute little blond fellow is now a very handsome, six footer and soon to be leaving home. It's also hard to imagine that his dad ever looked this young!
